Day 3: Sacred Cities & Wilderness Beckons (Anuradhapura & Wilpattu)

Visit the well-preserved ruins of the Vatadage of Polonnaruwa, intricate carvings of Nissanka Latha Mandapaya, the sacred Dalada Maluwa and the impressive Pothgul Viharaya which best depicted the medieval history of Sri Lanka.
During the afternoon, travel into the scenic highlands and enjoy the cascading view of Ramboda Falls.
Day 6: Highland Beauty & Colonial Echoes (Nuwara Eliya & Ella Region)
Trek through the fairy tale like scenery of Horton Plains National Park(optional trek), including the one of a kind biodiversity and the highly acclaimed “world’s end” precipice. Move on to Nuwara Eliya which is a picturesque colonial town set against the backdrop of lush Tea Estates, then visit a Tea Factory and learn more about the fascinating tea making process, topped off with a cup of refreshing Ceylon tea.
